I began to love him

Here’s one more Pandemonium quote for you.  Please note, spoilers below!

This quote comes from right before Julian’s harrowing rescue (as I’m sure you know) and made a marked difference in just how I felt about him.  I was never very fond of the idea of him and Lena as a couple, as I am fiercely devoted to Alex. However, Lena thinking this in conjunction with her efforts to rescue Julian, made me begin to see him as a potential love interest.  I guess you could say, that like Lena, I began to love him as well (though not as much as I love Alex, of course). And for that reason alone I consider this one of the most powerful quotes in Pandemonium.

Let me show you

This might arguably be the most swoon-inducing moment in Delirium.  What’s not to love about Alex, seriously?! He’s so wonderfully romantic, and I know a lot of us girls wish we were in Lena’s shoes during this scene, it’s just so beautiful.  Who’s got butterflies?

Love is the deadliest thing

Check out this cool Delirium graphic!  I especially love the quote, because let’s face it, there’s a whole lot of truth in it.  Love is perhaps the most wonderful and powerful thing in existence.  Even though it can make you feel down right terrible at times, every second is worth it!
